Newcastle property prices are relatively cheap

I moved to the Morisset peninsula so my family could have more time having fun in the backyard and pool. We live close to the lake, there are plenty of good schools,  several shopping centres and property prices are increasing quickly.

The great news is that Sydney is about 90 minutes away and I come down whenever I need to, so I have the best of both worlds and so do all the new families moving into the area. After watching the Supercars in Newcastle, doing a renovation in trendy Mayfield and witnessing things like these offshore superboats I’ve come to realise that Newcastle is becoming the new cool.

Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast are no longer just for retiress, but a place where young people come “to be able to” make something of themselves. A place where the building and construction industry is booming and tourism is on a massive growth path.
